Client: The McAllen Arts Council

The Rio Grande Valley was in the middle of a creative renaissance. The McAllen Arts Council wanted to share the regions eclectic art scene with its people through a tangible medium. It needed content highlighting this eclectic nature. And to establish a process to get it done.
     With the council's support I would co-create what would become artE Magazine. The strategy was straight forward. Create a magazine that reflected the area's eclectic nature.
     To do this I collaborated with  government, businesses, art lovers, and creatives. A wide group of people to cover a wide interpretation of the arts. This collaboration allowed us to tackle 'heavier' topics. Such as art as a profession to highlighting underrepresented creative fields. artE's thought provoking content made it the most desired publication in South Texas.
